Focus on your Low Hanging Fruit   What is Low Hanging Fruit?  The Low Hanging Fruit is heavier, probably riper and because of that, easier to pick. Think of your interested brides, those that have already expressed an interest in working with you, as this type of fruit. Ready for the picking.

Yet, many of us focus a lot of our energy on the higher fruit, the harder-to-reach fruit or prospect. We spend a lot of time working on trying to get new brides to be interested, when we really could be spending the time contacting and closing the deal with people who’ve already said they’d like to work with us but haven’t been turned into clients yet. Logically, this doesn’t make as much sense, does it?

Well starting today, you’re going to change that by putting more focus on Low Hanging Fruit, while you continue to market your bridal beauty business as a whole. Here’s how…

Your Assignment:

Have an “Interested Bride” system on your desk at all times.

Make an excel spreadsheet or print out sheets in a binder containing at least the following:

1. Name
2. Phone Number
3. Email Address
4. Wedding Date
5. Referral Source
6. Next Day/Time to Call
7. Notes

This will be one of your more important documents you’ll use for getting clients and you should plan on using it daily. Majority of the brides that we book at Hair Comes the Bride do not book with us the first or even the second time they talk to us.  It typically takes us being the ones to follow up with them.  We often hear things like “You are the only ones who have followed up with me.”  or “Oh, I was going to call you, thanks for calling me back.” 

The bottom line is that when you use this list, you WILL convert more interested brides into paying clients. When they stop using this list even briefly, prospective clients slip through your fingers.
